His training combines laboratory skills and management of molecular techniques with computational analysis of omics data, integrating experimental biology and data science approaches to the study of human health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His thesis work, <em>\u201cGut microbiota diversity in hypertensive older adults.\u201d<\/em>, The study addressed the characterization of microbial communities by sequencing the 16S rRNA gene and bioinformatic analysis with QIIME 2 and R, evaluating their relationship with cardiovascular risk factors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During his career, he has participated in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Technical and commercial assistance<\/strong> in Silvera Science and Engineering, providing training in the use of laboratory equipment and consulting for the implementation of new technologies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pharmacogenomics research<\/strong> at the National Institute of Genomic Medicine (INMEGEN), performing bioinformatics analysis of microbiota, management of clinical databases and data normalization for epidemiological studies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Studies on oxidative stress and DNA damage<\/strong> in the Laboratory of Hematopoiesis and Leukemia of the FES Zaragoza (UNAM), with cell culture techniques and biomarker analysis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>His technical expertise includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cell culture, DNA extraction and purification, PCR, electrophoresis, sequencing and management of animal models.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bioinformatics analysis with tools such as QIIME 2, R, Python and Linux, applied to genomic and metagenomic data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>He has complemented his education with teaching experience as a professor of high school entrance courses in the areas of Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry, and with participation in volunteer projects oriented to climate action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Quantum Lab, his capabilities in cell culture, molecular biology and data analysis allow him to contribute to the evaluation of biotechnological materials, ensuring quality and consistency of results.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Adri\u00e1n Cruz Olivares es Bi\u00f3logo titulado por la Universidad Nacional Aut\u00f3noma de M\u00e9xico (UNAM), con experiencia en microbiota intestinal, bioinform\u00e1tica y an\u00e1lisis de datos gen\u00f3micos.
